So boys and girls, are you looking for something fun to do over Spring Break? Staying with your parents may seem like an award winning idea to some, but for the rest of us out here, in the words of Niki Minaj, “Let’s Get It.”
1. Go skydiving
The weather should be nice — this is the perfect time to let everything go. Leave your art supplies, pencils and paper behind and fly free in the air.
2. Get frisky with the Carolina Tiger Rescue
Yes, tigers — and lions and bobcats and other wild things. And yes, they are right in our backyard.
3. St. Paddy’s Day Seaport
While checking out SCAD Savannah, watch the water turn green and join in the festivities of St. Patrick’s Day. Don’t get caught without wearing your green of course, and watch out for the leprechaun’s pot of gold.
4. Tampa
No Spring Break top 5 could be complete without a little love from the sunshine state. If you find that Georgia isn’t hitting the spot, strap on your bikinis and trunks and head (further) south.
5. Atlanta Botanical Gardens
If you can’t make it outside of the “A,” try skipping over to gardens in Midtown. The new bulbs are in bloom and seeing the flowers from the skywalk is the perfect way to shake off the winter blues — hopefully, by then, Old Man Winter will give us back our heat.
