Craving something sweet, but not quite the Betty Crocker of Spring House? Fool your friends with this coffee-mug cake from Babble. The Nutella adds a hazelnut kick, but if you’re not partial to the Italian spread, simply exclude it from the recipe.
Nutella Mug Cake
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons self-rising flour
4 tablespoons white granulated sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons Nutella
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large coffee mug. Whisk well with fork until smooth.
2. Microwave on high for 1½-3 minutes. Time depends on microwave wattage.
3. Optional: top with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Makes one large serving.
