Elizabeth Kostova wraps up visit

Elizabeth Kostova, bestselling author of “The Historian” and “The Swan Thieves,” completed her two-week visit with SCAD Atlanta writing students last Thursday. While here, Kostova lead fiction workshops in a graduate-level course inspired by her books, worked one-on-one with selected students to develop their writing and spoke in classes on topics ranging from research methods to submitting work for publication. She resided in the guest room at Ivy Hall during her visit, and students commented that Kostova felt like part of the writing faculty. Kostova wrapped up her stay on Thursday night with a reading and lecture in the events space, as part of the Ivy Hall Writers Series.
