View mixed-media pieces at alumnus exhibition
Explore human relationships with technology, science, man-made structures and more at “Translations,” an exhibition by Mark Dorf (B.F.A., photography, 2011). The exhibition will be held Aug. 17 – Oct. 27 in Gallery 1600, with an opening reception on Thursday, Oct. 5 from 6-8 p.m. Composed of two series, “Emergence” and “Transposition,” this exhibition examines how specific images or materials are transformed to form new representations and meanings. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
