See cult classic ‘Back to the Future’ trilogy at SCADshow
Catch the original “Back to the Future” as part of SCAD Cinema Circle’s Timeless Trilogies series. When 17-year-old Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) is accidentally sent 30 years into the past, he must make sure his parents fall in love so he can return to his own time with the help of his friend, amateur scientist Emmett “Doc” Brown (Christopher Lloyd). “Back to the Future” will be screened at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 30, and “Back to the Future Part II” and “Back to the Future Part III” will be screened as a double feature starting at noon on Saturday, March 31. Discuss writing with YA author Caren Lissner at Ivy Hall Writers Series
Join young adult novelist Caren Lissner for a roundtable discussion on Tuesday, April 3 at 11 a.m. in room 278 about her life and work. Lissner’s humorous coming-of-age novel, “Carrie Pilby,” was adapted for a film starring Bel Powley and Nathan Lane. Since college, Lissner has worked as a newspaper editor and reporter in northern New Jersey, covering gritty, sometimes wacky, political stories. The event, presented by the Ivy Hall Writers Series, is free and open to SCAD students.
