Don’t be daft, I am not a jellyfish. I am human, but I can relate to the universal experience we all share. These creatures might be 95 percent water but as I see it, they are more than just that.
These photographs were taken at the Georgia Aquarium using a camera I checked out from SCAD. I didn’t think of it much at the time I clicked them but rather just choosing an aesthetic I admired.
The names of these photos are merely my attempt at mapping out the jellyfish’s journey in terms similar to ours. Nature has always been reflective, but I am lucky to have found my spirit animal.
My favorite photo would be the ‘Spark of Life’ where one can actually see the sparks between the tentacles of the jellyfish that help them reproduce.
