Photographer of the week: Deeksha Biddappa

I am currently pursuing a masters degree in advertising at SCAD Atlanta. My journey through the world as a photographer started in my final years of high school, which then led me to get my undergraduate degree in photography back home in India. I also worked as a freelance photographer during my years as a student. My love for photography has traveled with me as I create my adventures throughout the world.

I recently started a project called “Faces of the World.” As I moved to different countries, I became fascinated by the people around the world and the stories they share — sometimes unspoken words with their own adventures by their side.

My goal in life is to show people a world that is mostly overlooked while going through busy lives and schedules. To me, a camera is a medium to pause time and see the magic surrounding us.
