Myles Fulton, aka RAMZIE, is a second-year film and television student at SCAD with an upcoming career in the music industry. The artist from Monroe, Georgia recently released a music video directed by our very own Photo Editor Josiah Persad for his hit song, “The One” from his 2019 album, “Skeleton.” Myles has also taken the golden opportunity to network and collaborate with his fellow talented peers at SCAD to produce more successful and diverse music.
The 19-year-old recording artist explained, “The One” is about finding just that. The one person you want to share a good bit of your life with; the one that’s made for you, if such a thing does exist. “Working on the video for the song with Persad, and others involved, was a fun experience and I wouldn’t have been extended that opportunity had I not been apart of the SCAD community,” said Fulton. “Being surrounded by like-minded individuals that love to create is really conducive for my growth as an artist as well as a person.”
Fulton and Persad spent a couple of weekends shooting the video with the help of other students and friends including Derriyon Winns, Collinge Lacy, Hackeem Mitchell and Kai Bleu. For both of these film and television students, the production process was a learning experience with many obstacles and challenges along the way.
Fulton added, “In the future, I want to be a person with hands in multiple bags meaning achieving a level of notoriety, in music, as well as acquiring multiple streams of income. These other streams will stem from my other talents such as, production, acting, and screenwriting to name a few.”
