Pull back the curtain on film’s scariest moments with SCADFILM
Award-winning director Alexandre Philippe and SCADFILM take you behind the screams of horror filmmaking with an in-depth workshop, discussion, and special screening of “Memory: The Origins of Alien,” which explores Ridley Scott’s 1979 sci-fi masterpiece, on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at SCADshow. The workshop begins at 5:30 p.m. and the screening and discussion will follow from 7-10 p.m. These events are free and open to SCAD Card holders. For more information, visit the SCADFILM events page.
Revel in Italian Renaissance splendor at ‘Moda Alla Medici’ talk
Join Italian Renaissance scholar and SCAD art history professor Sarah Mellott Cadagin for her talk “Moda Alla Medici: Fashioning the Self in Renaissance Florence” on Thursday, Jan. 9 at noon at SCAD FASH.
