Cattrall has been vocal about female experiences through the roles she plays, the interviews she’s done and through the books she’s authored. When asked her why her character, Margaret Monreaux from her new TV show ‘Filthy Rich’ is relevant, she said “I think the common theme that I’ve had among a lot of characters I’ve played is to play women who have chutzpah, have balls, and they stand up for what they believe and what’s theirs, that’s written all over this character. The character being based in the South , gives it a new flavor on top of everything else.”

Tate Taylor, the executive producer of the show ‘Filthy Rich’ said, “There are so many possibilities where we can take the show. Its an embrassment of riches.”

Cattrall added, “It’s so unexpected. We we’re getting the scripts as we were going along. We didn’t know what leaps were ahead of us. These changes were all so effortless.”
