There is nothing more personal than hanging pictures, posters or art in your walls. It definitely says a lot about a person and it’s the cleanest way for a creative to decorate.
It all starts with choosing what type of art you wish to hang, some go for posters and illustrations but for me it was illustrated vintage Vogue covers I searched for all over Pinterest.
Since there are hundreds of old Vogue covers, I selected those with an Art Deco style with sharp lines and fun color combinations. Choosing your true style is the main concern here, since you are going to surround yourself with these walls for a while.
After I chose what I wanted, I thought about quantity. I suggest not to limit yourself thinking heavily about the quantity since it could restrict your creativity.
Your quantity depends on the arrangement of your wall art items, and there’s tons of inspiration going on right now through Pinterest. I made a Pinterest board solely for this idea, and while I was doing research I noticed that even numbers work best.
You will find all types of wall art assembled differently, but just remember the arrangement should turn out how you want it to be. Not like in the picture.
If you do research, you will see that almost all wall art items look cleaner if they’re framed. But not only that, the frames will add even more detail to your wall making it look professionally decorated.
