Savannah-based mixed-media artist Ashley Benton (Painting B.F.A, 1990) unveils the marvelous in the everyday. Students can meet the artist and learn all about her work, dealing with experiential representations of emotions, engaging viewers in an open dialogue on the wonders of existence.
According to Benton’s website, “she has been exhibiting her work for more than twenty years across the country and beyond.” She bases her work on the experiences of living life and “attempts to unveil the marvelous in the everyday, create a sense of wonder, engage her mind and open a dialogue with the viewer.”
