Every filmmaker deals with one common issue; how in the world do I edit this video? This is the same exact question I ask myself on a constant basis. It’s almost impossible to figure out what to do without a foundation of where you want to go from the beginning of the recording. However, as creatives, we fall short of planning for what we are going to shoot sometimes, but more importantly, how we are going to edit the footage.

Recently I stumbled upon a preset option that is both free and available for download. I took the liberty of downloading it and using it on a couple of projects. The preset is a VHS filter pack, which includes time codes, VHS crop, and coloring options for you to choose from. The download link will be placed at the bottom of this article.
