Be a buddy to a new international student SCAD student, faculty and staff volunteers are needed to help new international students make the transition to Atlanta and SCAD. The International Student Services Office is seeking “buddies” to help students in the SCAD Cultural and Academic Preparation Program that begins Thursday, July 27. Each buddy will be paired with a CAPP participant and serve as an informal resource and supportive friend throughout the four-week program. Activities may include meals, local activities, shopping and more. Current SCAD students, faculty and staff can apply to be a CAPP buddy by emailing Peter May at pmay@scad.edu.
Visit CS3 on Fridays at Spring House Drop by the Spring House Fireplace Lounge on Fridays from 2-3 p.m. during summer quarter for Open Hours with Counseling and Student Support Services. Chat with a counselor, play games, learn about mental health and substance abuse, and grab a snack with your friends.
