Blizzard designer and SCAD graduate to speak next Friday
SCAD graduate Xin Wang will be visiting the SCAD-Atlanta campus next week on Friday, Feb 27 from noon-3 p.m. in the 4C event space. Wang will be speaking to students about his experiences working in the gaming industry at one of the most prestigious video game developers in America. As a cinematic artist, Xin Wang has created models, textures and shaders at Blizzard since graduating from SCAD. He has worked on some of the world’s best-selling PC games, such as “Starcraft Ghost,” “World of Warcraft,” “World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade” and “World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King.” Wang is currently working on “Starcraft 2” and “Diablo 3” as a cinematic character and prop supervisor.
