It’s lunchtime. Your stomach growls with the ferocity of a hungry wolf. You need something that will stick to those ribs — something hearty and powerful to quell the beast within. Genghis Grill fulfills that need.

Just down the street from 1600 Peachtree, Genghis Grill is a Mongolian stir-fry restaurant with a build-your-own-bowl bar. When you walk in, you grab a silver bowl and build your own meal from an array of fresh ingredients.

First, you choose your protein, which ranges from chicken, turkey, beef and even crab. (There is a tofu option for you vegetarians out there). Next, you choose a seasoning to flavor your dish — from a steakhouse pepper blend to the fiery Dragon Salt. The next step is to add vegetables and fruits — choose from pineapple, carrots, onions and broccoli. It’s all there to build the bowl of your dreams. Finally, you must choose a sauce for the cooks to use — this can be anything from generic stir fry to Genghis’ dangerously spicy “Khan’s Sauce.”

The beauty of Genghis Grill is the freedom it offers the customer, all for under $10.  If you are feeling healthy, there are bowls you can build that are less than 500 calories, and there are indulgent bowl ideas for the hungrier customers. Do you want to be a sculpted warrior or be rolled out from the restaurant in a wheelbarrow? The choice is yours.

For frequent customers, there is the Khan’s Klub, which rewards you a free meal after every 10 bowls.
