7:45 p.m. – The main building fire alarm was activated. The fire department responded and reset the alarm. Video is being reviewed to identify who pulled the alarm.
Oct. 4
8:30 a.m. – A suspicious package was found near the back steps of Spring House. Police and security investigated and the package was found to be not dangerous.
9:55 a.m. – A suspicious person entered the main building through the bookstore. The security manager met with him and escorted him out. Later, he entered through the front doors after finding a professor’s name and calling for an appointment under false pretenses. He was escorted off the property and asked not to return.
3:25 p.m. – A concerned parent of a current student called because she could not reach him. He was not found in the building, but a friend of his was found and asked to make contact so he could receive the message.
