Cameli’s, a recent addition to Little Five Points, offers a fresh take on casual Italian dining and specialty pizza. Thanks to a wide selection of beer and hand-crafted spirits, Cameli’s pairs pasta dishes and pies with local brews, like Red Hare from Marietta, which are sure to appease any distinct craving. Cameli’s forte is pizza and the most bang for your buck is The Infamous Monster Slice. It’s about ten inches in length, and starts at $3.50 per slice. Appetizing treats like pesto ricotta cheese and prosciutto are available as additional toppings starting at 85 cents each. Cameli’s also offers caprese salads, paninis and calzones.

The second-story heated patio looks out to the square on Little Five Points and makes for interesting people-watching. Both the main dining room downstairs and the annex upstairs present fully functioning bars and booths, accommodating large groups of friends or an intimate date with that special someone.

The caprese salad consists of sliced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil tossed in oil and lightly salted.
