The Connector recognizes exemplary photo work produced by SCAD students. This week’s featured photo belongs to third-year photography student, Calah Levy.
From the artist:
“This series, entitled ‘Water’s Edge,’ is a set of six images taken at Alexander Park located in Lawrenceville. I chose to shoot at dusk as a storm was brewing because I wanted images of this park that weren’t bright, colorful and conventional. While they are not necessarily your typical commercial park photographs, I believe that they promote the park in a slightly different, more interesting way. This series was my reflection on the stoic face of nature that many overlook.”
