This informative and interactive event series will give you a glimpse of the information that will be presented in the workshop. Divided into four sections and offered on October 25 from 11 a.m. – 1p.m., participants of this workshop will learn skills in time management, how to benefit from an art critique, study skills, and how to resolve interpersonal conflicts. Music Midtown
Midtown’s annual music festival returns Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21 to Piedmont Park and features more than 30 artists over two days. Friday’s lineup will feature Cake, Drivin N’ Cryin, Jane’s Addiction, Journey, North Mississippi Allstars, Phoenix, The Mowgli’s and 2 Chainz. Purchase your tickets for Friday’s show in the Hub from Student Activities Council (SAC) for the discounted price of $20 each. If we catch you at Music Midtown sporting your SCAD swag, you just may win a prize, courtesy of SAC. Avoid parking issues and take the SCAD Shuttle! SCAD Atlanta ISSO sponsors transportation to JapanFest
One of the largest Japanese festivals in the country, JapanFest is an annual celebration of Japanese culture designed to promote understanding between Japanese individuals and Americans in the Southeast. SCAD ISSO will be sponsoring free transportation to the festival to any current student, faculty or staff. The $8 admission charge to the festival is the responsibility of the participant.
