For students looking to brush up on their figuring drawing skills, but are daunted by the repetition of traditional open model session, don’t fret. The first Monday of each month you can take a nice little drive over to the Mellow Mushroom in Decatur to find a unique take on life drawing. Drink & Draw at the Decatur Mellow Mushroom brings in two top-notch cosplayers, each month, as models. Grab pencils, pen, brushes, pastels, markers and whatever else to draw the featured comic heroes. There are multiple poses at different lengths of time. Trivia happened between poses where you can win small prizes. At the end of the night you can put one of your pieces into a contest for a bigger prize. There is no cover at the door just be prepared to share a table with other artists and chow down on delicious food.
