The red carpet was rolled out for the grand opening of the new Atlanta location of printing company, Creative Approach. Started by two college guys chasing the American dream, the company originated in Savannah and expanded to Atlanta on July 30. Shrimps, cheeses and a giant red ribbon celebrated Creative Approach’s embark to our city. Celebrating with them were several of their loyal Savannah-based clients, local artists, politicians and Channel 2’s Fred Blankenship. In his opening speech Blakenship stated, “Who knew print and design could be so fun?” Odds are SCAD students could answer that question pretty easily.

SCAD Atlanta students know the struggle to find quality printers in the city. ABC Printing and Office Depot are the usual go-to’s during finals. Creative Approach already works with students in Savannah during finals by staying open 24/7 throughout finals weekend and they plan to do the same with their Atlanta location. A common issue Creative Approach also tries to prevent is the last minute changes made to files before students go to print. Their solution: Mac computers equipped with the Adobe Creative Suite available for their customers to make those last minute edits. In addition to all this, they even accept SCAD cards as payment!

Creative Approach assures consumers that customer service is their main concern. Customers can bring in their own paper to print on and custom projects are analyzed by their staff to guarantee quality. “It’s all in the name,” says Savannah Comedy Revue’s Tom Paris. “They have a great ‘creative approach’ in getting the prints done.”  He’s been a customer of Creative Approach for a while. In addition to making prints, Creative Approach also provides design services for those who aren’t artistically inclined. It’s all part of their attempt to turn the ideas of their customers into reality.

Between their multiple printing machines, experienced staff and thoughtful mission statements, Creative Approach has more than proven themselves worthy of a try. Find them at 1080 West Peachtree St NW and check out the pictures of their grand opening.
