aTVfest brings small-screen stars, screenings and more
The fourth-annual aTVfest will be hosted at SCAD Atlanta Feb. 4-7, with panels, screenings, special discussions and more at the Digital Media Center, SCADshow and 1600 Peachtree St. Special guests include Hugh Dancy and Michelle Monaghan for Thursday’s screening of “The Path,” Mindy Kaling for the Saturday screening of “The Mindy Project,” Freddie Highmore of “Bates Motel” for a Saturday screening, Icon Award honoree Lili Taylor and Spotlight Cast award honorees the cast of “Gotham.”

This year’s festival programming starts Thursday, Feb. 4 at 10 a.m. and will also include panel discussions on everything from writing, to costuming and visual effects, and more, wrapping up on Sunday, Feb. 7 with a screening of “Lucifer.”

RADS program returns Tuesday, Feb. 9
SCAD Atlanta will offer RADS (Rape Aggression Defense System) sessions for men and women in self-defense on Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 5-7 p.m. for students, faculty and staff. To sign up for either session, click here. For more information on the R.A.D. system, visit their website.
