Prepare for the SCAD Career Fair
The 2016 SCAD Career Fair, with more than 150 of the world’s leading companies, will be held at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center on Friday, Feb. 19. To prepare, Career and Alumni Success will host a workshop on how to work a career fair on Friday, Feb. 12 at the DMC Theater from 1-3 p.m. The Career Fair website also has valuable preparation information. Transportation will be provided for Atlanta students to Savannah, but students must register in advance. To register for transportation, log in to the SCAD Job Portal to save your spot by Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, under the Events tab > Workshops.
LEAD Conference moved to Feb. 26
To avoid conflicts with make-up classes on Friday, Feb. 12, the LEAD Conference will be rescheduled to Friday, Feb. 26. For more information, visit the SCAD Atlanta Student Leadership blog.
Polish your thesis at the Grad Salon
A graduate student salon will be held Thursday, Feb. 11 at 5:30 p.m. in the California Room. Graduate students may present 10-15-minutes on their thesis and then participate in discussion with students, faculty and staff on how to refine and improve. For more information, email Chris Stevens.
