SCAD will have a “Building Credit Workshop” on Wednesday, April 20 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the New York room.
Students will learn how to not only build their credit, but how to keep it in good standing as well.
A common misconception about credit is that it means getting free money. The truth is that credit is a loan given to someone so that they can purchase now and pay later. Credit may also come with interest and recurring fees.
The full presentation will go over maintaining credit in and out of college.
