The United States 2020 Presidential Election is right around the corner and is being held on Tuesday, Nov. 3. Everyone has the right to vote and author Tina Cassidy joins SCAD’s ‘Guests and Gusto’ to talk about this right as well as women’s suffrage. This conversation takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 28, a few days before the Presidential Election.

Cassidy is the author of several books about women in culture and will be discussing the historical relevance of women’s suffrage and the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment.

She currently works at WGBH, Boston as the Chief Marketing Officer where she leads WGBH’s marketing, public relations efforts and communications. In addition to this, one of her latest nonfiction books are Mr. President How Long Must We Wait? Alice Paul, Woodrow Wilson and the Fight for the Right to Vote.
