“The Levitation Series” is a gallery composed of self portraits I take on the Forty balcony at SCAD Atlanta. Each photo features myself in a different position using only the furniture provided at this location. We often believe we need impressive equipment to create amazing works of art, but this series is dedicated to using only what is available to create something idiosyncratic.
I believe that the more that we push ourselves as students, the more potentials we begin to unlock. Albeit, this is just the early stage of the series, I know through dedication I will be able to achieve what it truly means to be able to use your limitations to your advantage. As Napoleon Hill once said, “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the mind can achieve.”
