Submissions are now being accepted for the Drawing Works 2021 exhibition and the Foundation Studies Portfolio Award exhibition. Drawing Works is an annual student exhibition surveying experimental gestures in diverse artistic practices. Entries are due Sunday, Jan 17, and there are cash prizes. The Foundation Studios Portfolio Award and exhibition recognizes students who are committed to excellence in their foundation studies classes in this annual exhibition featuring a variety of color theory, design, and drawing works. Note possible construction noise increase
Contractors working within the established construction area at SCAD Atlanta will conduct controlled demolitions as part of the ongoing construction of the new Spring Street residence hall. These demolitions will occur periodically through Tuesday, Feb. 9. SCAD Atlanta students, faculty, staff, and guests may encounter SCAD Department of University Safety professionals monitoring the immediate areas around the construction site to ensure the safety of the SCAD community. As a reminder, the Spring Street construction area is off-limits at all times for the safety of SCAD students, faculty and staff.
