We have a lot to look forward to this summer. More of us are getting vaccinated, which means life is getting back to normal. As we have all been in loungewear for the better part of two years, it is important to learn about the upcoming men’s fashion trends so that you can show up to the resorts and bars dressed to impress your friends, or to at least look great for Instagram.

1. Wide-legged pants

Wide-legged pants have been seen all over the latest men’s runway shows. They bring a flair to every outfit and have been favored by celebrities for a long time. They can even be seen worn by fashion king Harry Styles. These pants can accent a great pair of shoes and even make the wearer seem taller due to their streamlined nature. They provide a throwback to the 70s, which is currently the favorite fashion era of choice.

2. Florals

As Miranda Priestly in “The Devil Wears Prada” once said, “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.” Florals are always around in the spring and summer, and it might feel like a worn-out trend, but there is a clear reason why they are popular. Florals are a seasonal staple, bringing a colorful and dynamic nature to any outfit. Additionally, when we throw on a button-down with a floral print or even some pants or T-shirts with a floral accent, it elevates the entire look. Especially as an accent on a piece of clothing, florals can take an otherwise simple outfit ensemble and make it photo or runway-ready.

3. Head-to-toe white

Another summer staple, but also a slight point of contention among fashion enthusiasts, is head-to-toe white. Some say white and all-white are to only be worn from Memorial Day until Labor Day, while others dress how they want whenever they want. Regardless, summer is the time of white parties and beach trips, which means it is time to grab your favorite white jeans, white shoes, and a white top and hit the streets. Not only does white work on everyone, but if you are getting your summer tan on, this will highlight your skin tone even more! It’s a simple way to look super trendy while remaining classic.

4. Yellow

Our final trend to review will be yellow! After what feels like a stunted summer of 2020 and more than one long year in quarantine, we all need color in our lives. Yellow is the answer! Yellow is the color of happiness and warmth, which is why it is going to be everywhere all summer. Yellow was also announced as the Pantone Color of the year for 2021. This color will liven up any outfit, whether as a majority of your outfit tones or just an accent. As you break free from the gray of quarantine, use yellow to match the summer sun and spread the new positivity of life across the world.
