New York Fashion Week is all about drama and history. A mix of both worlds. This fashion week we saw
some favorites come back while others made some questionable decisions. This fall/winter 2022 has been all about the reminiscence of the past and making a statement.

Blues All the Way

We saw a highly saturated blue hitting the runway. Even though many pop colors are trendy, this one is
standing out. Our favorite, Tom Ford, styles his model in velvet knee shorts (Bermuda) and a tailored
jacket with a beautiful satin tie shirt.

Big Bag is Back

After the trends of tiny purses, we saw designers excited to get their big bags back on the runway. We see a range of tote bags by Gabriela Hearst, Tom Ford, and Khaite. Will these be our staple for spring
break? Who knows?

Sheer Sexiness

After being at home and dressed down, everyone was looking forward to dressing sexy, and designers heard that! We see designers dressing their models in sheer and netted long, sexy dresses. Simkhai puts a spin on the trend with tailored formal wear in sheer netted fabric.

Earthy and Brown

NYFW has always been about a mix of both worlds. That is why we see a pop of blue but also the
minimalism of brown. Designers kept things low and classy with browns and egg-shell white, and we loved it! From Prabal Gurung to Philim Lim, everyone used creams to their strengths.

Waist and More

We have been covered up for so long that spring break calls for a little show-off. The designers thought
the same. We saw a lot of designers emphasizing those summer bodies and abs. Miu Miu’s highly
cropped sweater and shirt with micro mini shorts are giving us goosebumps.
