Why: McCray’s is a co-venture of Scott McCray, who owns Lava Lounge and Cosmopolitan seven or so blocks up the street, and Tony LaRocco, who previously owned Fratelli di Napoli. It makes sense that both these partners would want to inject some culinary heritage into their affordable neighborhood hangout. It serves Irish and Italian cuisine, with delicately cooked homemade potato chips, bacon cheddar, orzos and pasta.

Why: Around the corner, consistent, quality, and economical selections of hearty Italian food. If you have never been there now is the time to join the crowds.

Why: Italian cuisine that specializes in preparing pizzas, great varieties of dishes composed of classic Italian dishes with a good variety of America’s favorite pizza topping choices.

Why: The food may not induce heights of rapture, but it is consistent and never disappointing. What could be better than inexpensive, freshly made food delivered quickly and served in normal portions that aren’t drowning in sauce? No reservations needed, nothing formal and you’ll probably get what you want without too much hustle!!!
