Venture to new realms with the Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival
EMP Museum is now accepting entries for its 11th annual Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival in early 2016.
EMP is seeking original film submissions 15 minutes or less. The films, whether animated or live action, should adhere to a science fiction or fantasy genre such as futuristic, utopia, dystopia, magic, urban fantasy and more. Submissions that step outside the boundaries of reality and inspire a sense of wonder are encouraged.
The Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival, held every winter in Seattle, Washington, brings together filmmakers from around the world to promote new, creative additions to science fiction and fantasy cinema. Films screened at the festival have received national and international distribution and have even been nominated for Academy Awards and other high honors.
A jury of nationally recognized film, literature and science fiction industry professionals will choose the winners based on originality, quality, artistic merit, style and narrative.
For more information and to submit, visit the festival website.
