SCAD’s Savannah Film Festival is back and better than ever. There’s a whole schedule of events for students and members of the public who plan to attend. If you’re not in Savannah to attend live, no worries — you can attend the events live via Zoom. See the list below of some of the events that are happening this week.

  1. Meet fellow SCAD Bees making their names in the industry at SCAD Savannah Film Festival panel — Many guests at this event are SCAD alumni who have been quite successful at making names for themselves in show biz. Tune in to hear about their best practices for longevity in film and television and how their SCAD experience helped influence their careers. This event takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 2 p.m. ET, but is available to stream within 24 hours after the scheduled event time through 11:59 p.m. ET, Saturday, Oct. 30.

2. Celebrate diverse voices this film fest — The importance of diversity in the film and entertainment industry will be discussed, pushing for the creation of a more inclusive and equitable industry where actors, directors and artists from all different backgrounds can thrive. This event takes place on Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. ET, but is available to stream within 24 hours after the scheduled event time through 11:59 p.m. ET, Saturday, Oct. 30.

3. See Entertainment Weekly’s Big Panel and Awards — Join the hottest upcoming actors as they talk about the projects they’re working on, how they started in the entertainment industry and their plans for their careers in the future. This event is hosted by the festival’s media partner, Entertainment Weekly. This panel takes place on Friday, Oct. 29, at 2 p.m. ET, but is available to stream within 24 hours after the scheduled event time through 11:59 p.m. ET, Saturday, Oct. 30.
