The Bevel shaving system, the innovation of Silicon Valley darling Tristan Walker, has arrived at Target. The Bevel shaving system is a razor subscription service catered to those with coarse and curly hair, mainly African American men. Now customers can buy the introductory 30-day kit in Target stores as well as the product refills. The system boasts a unique formula that stops irritation and razor bumps due to the single blade straight razor and accompanying skincare products. The 5-step system includes a priming oil, shaving brush, shaving cream, double edge safety razor and restoring balm for after you shave.
Target is not new to working with brands catering to the African American market. They started with the natural hair care aisle in 2010 by teaming up with natural hair care brands Miss Jessie’s, Mixed Chicks, Curls, Kinky-Curly, Miss Jessie’s, Shea Moisture, and Jane Carter Solution. Bevel will now be a part of expanding that market towards African American men.
