Chuyue Wen, a first-year photography student, produces major style envy wherever she goes. Apart from taking beautiful photos, she also lends her variety of other talents to the fashion department by modeling for a current fashion student’s senior collection. This means that she may have the opportunity to grace the catwalk during the upcoming SCAD fashion show.
Although she isn’t trend-driven in her sartorial choices, she always manages to look effortlessly chic. This featured outfit epitomizes her signature style, which consists of laid-back clothing paired perfectly with platform shoes, colored eyebrows to match her hair and minimal pendant necklaces. Even though her favorite store is Opening Ceremony, you can easily find her browsing obscure and unknown shops, digging through racks to find unique pieces. Not only does she display serious SCAD student style, she is photographic evidence that you can take the traditionally “unfashionable,” such as work overalls reminiscent of house painters, and make it the go-to, must-have piece in your wardrobe.
