Writers’ Studio and ACA Library host new writers workshop
“Finding Your Way: Best Practices for New Writers,” a workshop for students working on research papers and essays, will be held on Thursday, Aug. 9 at 3 p.m. in Library room 413. Learn all you need to know to meet the high standards of a SCAD research paper.

SCAD Cinema Circle’s Superhero Summer heats up with the 1990 version of the film at SCADshow on Friday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. A mysterious, radioactive ooze has mutated four turtles into walking, talking, crime-fighting ninjas. When a villainous rogue ninja arrives, it’s up to the plucky turtles to stop him. Screenings are free for SCAD Cardholders and $10 for the public. Visit the SCADshow website for more information.
