New summer additions.

In Jamaica — and so many other places in the world — a garden is one of a person’s most prized possession. This summer, I witnessed my mother’s garden in full bloom. I remember when we first moved to our home in 2010, there was no grass and all the trees were dead. Over the years, my mother was able to breathe life and love into her garden. Photographed in 2018, these pictures show her garden in its prime.
