Atlanta’s High Museum of Art is showcasing a collection of classical European masterpieces, a series of works by various visual artists from the 20th century. The iconic works by impressionist, post-impressionist, expressionist and cubist artists in “European Masterworks” show American art critic and art collector Duncan Phillips’ efforts to bring European modernism to a larger audience.

“It was a fantastic experience to see all these great artists who’ve developed such individuality, and since we’ve studied them their work is far more exciting,” said Dhiksha Sajnani, a third-year graphic design major.

Caitlin Havens, a third-year writing student said that she’s been waiting to see this exhibition for a while and intends to visit over the summer break.
