SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film invites the public to its opening reception of the new exhibition “Form & Function: Shoe Art by Chris Francis” on Thursday, Sept. 19 between 6-8 p.m.
Chris Francis is a Los Angeles-based artist who identifies as a punk-rock person and attempts to create pieces that are innovative and creative by using cheap and easily found materials. The items on display at the exhibition may be found here.
Francis will attend the opening reception and speak about his work and process. The event is free for SCAD FASH members and SCAD students, staff and faculty with a valid SCAD card. Further information about the cost of admission and location may be found here.
