Guests and Gusto: Check out the work behind fashion photographer Robert Fairer’s iconic images
Fashion photographer Robert Fairer and his agent and wife, Vanessa Fairer appeared on SCAD’s ‘Guests and Gusto’ last Tuesday, Oct. 20 to discuss Robert’s iconic images. These images capture the energy and raw emotions backstage as models, stylists, crew and technicians prepare the runway.
After being influenced by the music and fashion scene in the 1990s, Fairer started photography career started. He would go about photographing supermodels and theatrical show productions to add to his work. Throughout his career, he has done work for American Vogue, Elle and Harpers Bazaar USA, just to name a few.
The couple also discussed that they will be holding an exhibition at the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion and Film next year – and students can look out for more information on this event closer to the exhibition date.
