Industrial Design: Table Saw and Post Test
Friday, Feb. 5, 9-10 a.m.

In this workshop students will learn the intricacies of the table saw with demonstrations of crosscuts and rip cuts. Students are required to read the corresponding section in the attached SCAD Studio Shop Safety Manual prior to the start of the workshop. A hands-on demonstration by students will be part of the session. At the end of this session, students will be required to take a written evaluation on all topics covered throughout the three sessions. A 100% score is needed for approving the test. Weaving Textiles

Make your Lumen prints permanent by capturing them digitally and editing them using Lightroom and Photoshop. Tips will be given for capturing your prints with available tools like your smart phone, allowing participants to discover contemporary ways to digitally explore this historic process.

Introduction to Colored Pencils

Prismacolors-Artist colored pencils are rich in wax and pigments. It creates a full luster palette and easily can be compared to the depth and richness in oil paintings. They can be sharpened to a fine point to allow for exquisite detail. Building a delicate layers technique will give a deep and luminescent color in results.
