I had the privilege of witnessing the SCAD Runway of Dreams fashion show, and I can say it was truly spectacular. Runway of Dreams Foundation is a non-profit organization that focuses on making fashion accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities. They work directly with schools across America and their students to assist with projects, offer internships, and help run shows. Amber Kanu, president of SCAD Runway of Dreams club, reached out to the organization last year and was able to secure the first collaboration between the SCAD fashion department and Runway of Dreams.

Through the hard work of the Runway of Dreams SCAD executive team, the first fashion show was held on the SCAD Fashion Terrace, featuring an amazing opening dance performance by the SCAD dance club.

The pieces featured were made by SCAD students to assist people with disabilities, all while looking gorgeous at the same time. The show was nothing short of lovely.
