As the temperatures outside are preparing for the full force of summer, spring quarter finals are in full swing.  We all know that means countless all-nighters, last minute studying, various design-related injuries and a lack of sleep. Unless you want to look like a bag lady about to miss her bus, check out these few tips to make sure you don’t look like you have Jansport bags under your eyes. As a fashionable person, I can safely say the only luggage you should be carrying around is Chanel.

  1. Wear concealer.

For those of us who have a bit of makeup savvy, concealer will be your best friend during finals. If you haven’t already used some this quarter, now would be the time to break it out. Make sure that your concealer is slightly lighter than your regular skin tone or foundation to brighten up those dark under-eye circles, giving you a bright-eyed and awake look.

2. Stay hydrated.

Your face is the first place people notice problems with health such as dehydration and exhaustion. Make sure to drink plenty of water and/or fluids in general to make sure your face keeps a healthy glow.

3.  Use everything cold.

Washing your face with cold water or putting cold spoons under your eyes helps the blood vessels constrict, making any possible bags shrink significantly.

4.  Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.

Moisturizing is the key to making sure your skin is just as hydrated as the inside of your body. For your face, make sure you use a special facial moisturizer as opposed to one meant for the rest of your body. The skin is thinner or more sensitive on your face, so choosing a facial moisturizer that truly quenches your skin’s thirst is critical for youthful and bright-looking skin.

I hope these tips will help you fake it ‘till you make it through finals.
