Library “Food for Fines” for fall
The ACA Library of SCAD is collecting nonperishable food donations for the Atlanta Community Food Bank. The ACA Library of SCAD will waive one overdue book fine for every donation. Email Mike Varin at mvarin@scad.edu or call 404-253-6085 for more information.

Take a break for late-night brunch fun
Join students, faculty and staff for the fall Late-Night Brunch event on Thursday, Nov. 10. Enjoy brunch food, special events, games and prizes and take a break before finals with friends.

SCAD Atlanta Cycling team at Serenbe and Spring House
The SCAD Atlanta Cycling team will host a mock cyclocross relay at Spring House on Friday, Nov. 11. Check-in for five-person relay teams begins at 2 p.m., and riders are required to get their bikes and helmets safety checked. A mandatory riders meeting is at 3:45 p.m. and the event officially begins at 4 p.m. For more information, visit facebook.com/scadatlantacycling. The cycling team will also participate in cyclocross at Serenbe on Sunday, Nov. 13.

Women’s Cross Country Wins Conference Championship
SCAD Atlanta collected its first-ever Appalachian Athletic Conference Women’s Cross Country championship on Nov. 5, edging powerhouse Milligan College by a mere two points. The Buffaloes had won 13 titles in a row before the Bees snapped their streak. The team will move on to compete in the national championships on Saturday, Nov. 19.
