One of fashion’s most acclaimed magazines celebrates its anniversary this month together with its September issue. InStyle’s chosen cover girl was actress and advocate Julianne Moore who recreates iconic fashion moments of the 90s by wearing designer dresses and posing to resemble the era.

InStyle was launched in 1994 and was one of the first magazines to feature famous musical artists, actresses and models on its cover. The magazine’s first ever cover was done by Barbra Streisand, and its main theme was on all-access, celebrity lifestyles.

In this issue, InStyle highlights how the magazine changed its style and catered to the times, events and issues women and the world are currently facing. The magazine features women who own diverse industries, personal and political anecdotes, fashion, self-care and unique editorials.

InStyle summarizes this month’s work by saying, “That is what we wanted to capture in our September issue, which marks InStyle’s 25th anniversary: not a magazine version of the women, but a realer one.”

The magazine features special sections dedicated to their 25th birthday, including short quotes from models and actresses who have appeared in the cover numerous times, accompanied by a small snapshot of their covers throughout the years.

They bring back cover girls Drew Barrymore, Kerry Washington, Cameron Diaz and Salma Hayek to talk about their favorite experiences and memorable moments working with InStyle.

These cover stars had a spread on a section of the magazine that features their portrait along with statements that reflect the contribution InStyle had to their personal life and career.

The fashion audience acknowledges InStyle’s presence as one that supports women and helps them embrace their true self together with having a good sense of fashion.
