President and founder of SCAD, Paula Wallace, has recently released the first season to the SCADcast, ‘On Creativity’, on Nov. 13. In this program, she stated, via one of her Instagram posts, that she will be interviewing some “prominent makers, thinkers, auteurs and inventors of our time.”

SCAD.

Podcasts are audio stories that are used to entertain, inform and inspire – and this is what she is doing. She also used her own play on words, calling the podcast a ‘SCADcast’ – adding even more originality to her program.

Currently, in season 1, President Wallace has interviewed a number of persons such as: Alan Cumming, Ane Crabtree, Christene Barberich, Amy Emmerich, Dustin Yellin and Carleton Varney. Here, she discusses a variety of topics with them, from their childhood memories to their career life – and everything in between.

Of course being the SCAD bee that she is, she incorporated a wonderful whistling-themed musical introduction done by George Lovett- a member of SCAD’s alumni.
