If it’s your first quarter at SCAD or your last and you are yet to experience the Savannah campus, then this is your chance.

SCAD Museum of Art

Observe the transformative exhibitions during a free field trip to the university’s premier contemporary art museum in Savannah and see works done by many exciting upcoming artists.

There will be guided tours by SCAD Museum of Art curators, introducing you to the building’s history and special exhibitions on display, all while providing an insightful and intimate viewing of the work by unconventional artists such as Raúl de Nieves, Wong Ping, and others.

According to fashion and writing student, Katherine Diaz Villegas, “taking a day trip to Savannah, especially as a SCAD Atlanta student, is extremely beneficial. Not only did it feel like a mini vacation, but it was nice to check out the museum and explore Savannah. I highly recommend it if you’re able.”

Buses depart SCAD Atlanta at 7:30 a.m. and return at 8:30 p.m. Bring cash or your SCAD Card to enjoy lunch at The Hive.

The field trip is open to all SCAD students. Email Stephanie McFarlane at smcfarla@scad.edu by Wednesday, Feb. 5, to secure your spot.
