From “Graduation” to “Jesus is King,” Kanye West has been a mesmerizing inspiration to his fans. His energy, music style and fashion statements have made him one of the world’s biggest influences. On the same note, his most recent album “DONDA” has generated a new era of Mr. West or “Ye,” and everyone, including myself, is absolutely loving it.

For the past few years, Kanye has adopted a “masked identity” form of style — literally. He wears balaclava-styled masks that cover his entire face to both complement his wardrobe and hide his facial emotions. This mask-like style was pushed at his first, second and third listening party for his “DONDA” album release. Now, everyone is following in his footsteps with the masked look and Bottega-like boots he wore.

Of course, I jumped on the trend myself by mimicking his style for long exposure shots, photographed by Ilijah Simpson and Michelle Carmona.
