Midterms are finally over, and it may be time for a small break that gives students enough energy to get through the rest of the quarter. Check out this list of fun events occurring around Atlanta to find that boost of motivation you need.

  1. Visit the “Van Gogh: Immersive Experience” in Atlanta — According to the website, this event is a 20,000 square foot light and sound spectacular, featuring two-story projections of the artist’s most compelling works. 2. Attend the show “WILD” by Illuminarium Experiences — This event is located right by the Atlanta Beltline, and students can expect to have a wildlife safari experience. Go see a movie at IPIC in Colony Square, Midtown Atlanta — Only a few minutes away from SCAD’s main building, this epic cinema will easily become one of your favorites to see all the popular upcoming movies. 4. Dine in at Serena Pastificio at Colony Square, Midtown Atlanta — Go get brunch, lunch or dinner at the Italian restaurant, Serena Pastificio. They have a delicious menu combined with the perfect setting to go hang out with friends for a relaxing afternoon or evening. 5. Go to Topgolf Atlanta — If you’re confused about what Topgolf is, it is a “sports entertainment complex that features an inclusive, high-tech golf game that everyone can enjoy,” stated perfectly by the Topgolf website. They also serve drinks and food which makes the game even more enjoyable. It’s a great time with friends and family, and a much-needed break after a tough midterm week.
