Visit Robert Fairer’s exhibit ‘Backstage Pass’ at SCAD FASH
Robert Fairer is a London-based fashion photographer. Upon graduating college in the early 1990s, he began shooting runway collections in London and Paris, documenting the work of designers like Vivienne Westwood, Alexander “Lee” McQueen and John Galliano.
According to the SCADFASH website, “‘Backstage Pass: Dior, Galliano, Jacobs, and McQueen’ captures the zeitgeist of the turn of the 21st-century, an era of artistic zenith in runway show production by the house of Dior, John Galliano, Marc Jacobs, and Alexander McQueen. The exhibition draws from Fairer’s prolific body of work that includes hundreds of thousands of images, and was curated in close collaboration with the artist and his wife, Vanessa.”
His exhibit ‘Backstage Pass’ will be on view at SCADFASH from Oct. 13, 2021 – April 16, 2022.
Students are also able to get exclusive access to SCAD FASH’s “Backstage Pass” at the Robert Fairer artist talk, happening on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. ET.
